My son is 10 months old when we got this for him. He can’t press down on the buttons yet. Though he enjoys watching the eyes spin and hearing cookie monsters voice. I have two nephews; 3 and 2 years old. Now they have fun with it. The 3 year old loves to repeat cookie monster and the 2 year old loves to press the keys. It is enjoyable to me, seeing all three of them take pleasure in this simple and cute toy for just a few dollars.

This phone has kept both my now 11 month old and my 2 1/2 year old occupied and interested for almost a year now. It was my 2 1/2 year old’s phone first and she loved it as much as the baby now does.

I only recommend, once purchasing this, to replace the batteries. The other reviewer pointed out that when the buttons on her phone were pushed the phone would say the wrong numbers. This only happens when the batteries are getting low, so it’s a good indicator of when to replace them.

Once the new batteries are in, it works like a charm all over again!

This is the only electronic toy my kids own and I am SO thankful it’s quiet.

Surprisingly, not too annoying! (2006-03-13)
Okay, we haven’t had this phone long. But it isn’t too loud, and it makes a variety of sounds instead of just a couple annoying ones. It rings with different tones (just phone sounds on the learning mode; the fun mode has three songs–”The Farmer in the Dell,” “A Tisket, a Tasket” [or maybe it's "Ring around the Rosie"] and “Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star”) and also plays snippets of conversation or a voice speaking the names of numbers that are pressed. In the fun mode, red lights flash in the green frame around the screen; in the learning mode, red digital numbers light up on the screen.
Our 13-month-old sat down on the floor of the store to play with the toy until we took it away from him, and he played with it more in the car and at home. I’m hoping it will distract him from our cordless phone.
We haven’t found an on/off button, but the sound is quiet enough that I’m not too worried about it.

Great rain cover. It fits well and stores compactly. I’m not sure what more you could ask for in a stroller rain cover.

I didn’t want to buy any of the plastic drums and instrument sets so I was happy to find this. The drum is very sturdy and makes a lot of noise Our daughter (2 years) loves it. The drum has a handle attached so all the instruments can be stored in it when you turn it upside down. Perfect to teach clean up, too! The shakers are the only ones that are not very loud, they could be a little louder as they can’t really be heard when you play all instruments together. Overall, the best choice out there, couldn’t be happier.

Not just for 3 year olds… (2008-04-05)
We bought this drum set for my daughters 1st birthday and she absolutely loves it!! She walks all around the house shaking the maracas and then brings me the drum to beat (she also beats the drum too). And she loves the other shakers too. The age recommendation is 3 years, but is perfect for younger ages too. My nephew also has this set (also 1 year old) and we gave it as a gift to another 1 year old girl. Have fun making music together!

I got this toy as a Christmas present for my son. He is 10 months and loves it. He pounds on the drum, shakes the maracas and used them as teething toys too. I know this set will grow with him.

Shake, Rattle, & Drum….Fun, Fun, Fun (2007-01-18)
We purchased the Shake, Rattle, & Drum for our twin 1 year old boys and they absolutely love it. We know that this is recommended for ages 3 and above, but they have been pounding on everything they could get their hands on so we figured they’d love it. At their age we only let them use it with adult supervision because they want to put everything in their mouth and we figure that isn’t prudent because of them ingesting the paint. The red rattle is a little loud so that may only come out for special occasions. I’d recommend this for budding musicians that like to pound on things.

Play value lasts and lasts (2008-12-01)
We bought this toy for my son’s first Christmas when he was just over a year old. A year later he still loves playing with it. He has a favorite song that he and Daddy started dancing to months and months ago. The batteries last forever in it, and it is so durable considering the abuse it has gotten. Now that he’s two it has turned into a stool on occasion! It is one of the best toys we’ve bought and the only toy that has really grown with him. He’s now starting to get into numbers and colors and the piano is right there with him. I highly recommend this toy.

My daughter recieved this toy for her first birthday and loved it. It is durable, fun, and not annoying to adults. She still plays with it about once a week at three years old.

I bought this for my niece on her 1st birthday, and she immediately walked up to it and started hitting the keys and dancing to the accompanying music. Great little toy for the money, highly recommend!

Favorite Toy (2008-11-15)
This is my daughter’s favorite toy. We purchased it when she was 9 months old and she is now 16 months. It was the first toy that held her attention for more than a minute or two. It was also the first toy she could play with standing. Having a background in music myself, I appreciate the extent to which this toy teaches music. My only reservations about this toy are the sturdiness and the price. It has been durable enough for my toddler, but I wish it was another inch or two higher and the legs were slightly more substantial. That said, it has never tipped or fallen on my child. Overall, a great buy, and a must-have if you can find a good price!

I bought this for one year old niece and nephew. These toys are durable andthey have a good sound. They love them! They are perfect for their little hands.

Mini Orchestra a hit! (2007-01-11)
My one year old granddaughter loves these “jingly” instruments. We play music and dance and shake the instruments. During Christmas “Jingle Bells” was one of our favorite songs. These will be used for years to come!

Seeing a 1 year old little girl playing these instruments is hysterical! My niece absolutely loved them. She had such an easy time handling them because they are her size, which is unusual. All other instrument toys are so much larger and it’s hard for them to hold on to them while trying to play them! The smiles and giggles are worth everything!
